Our product is predominantly targeted at young adults aged 16-17, however we aim to engage and attract all members of the pupil who are interested in urban crime dramas, including young females. The feature’s within our product contain generic conventions of urban u.k dramas, which uses typical and similar characters, settings and representational issues to other urban u.k drama products. I believe that our movie would also appeal to teenagers in American as well, because an existing product called ‘Kidulthood’ was very successful there which gives evidence that our target audience can also include young american adults.
