Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

In the making of our preliminary task we as a team have learned and acknowledged many techniques and editing skills, which we further considered using in our full product. Firstly, we gained knowledge of two very professional and effective techniques called shot reverse shot and over the shoulder shot. Furthermore, we also learned the use of a variety of camera shots, such as close ups, medium shots and long shots, which we used in our full product as their purpose is to engage and effective the audience. Moreover, the preliminary task gave the members of the whole team a chance to use editing software called ‘adobe premiere pro’ and also to be able to use filming equipment before starting the actual course work.
